infinite map is the worst thing that happened to gmod, I don't hate this mod in fact, it’s just a huge obj model + thousands of png files that eat up more than 10GB of RAM, there’s not even any lighting on the map and there never will be, these are just huge dead meshes.

Just saw this video, but I hope you see this comment. Do you think you could go more into detail on how Black Mesa's visuals were 'overstimulating'? Not that I disapprove of your opinion, it is your opinion after all but I'd like to hear you out as I am working on a mod that has been mostly unannounced that will have a similar graphics quality and I'd really like to get your perspective to see if there's a way I can avoid making a similar mistake. Thank you.

my theory is that the point where the projectile/attack gets fired from gets offset into the enemy and when the bullsquids try to shoot they shoot them selves (like the way rad shot himself at 7:22) but the barnacle doesnt since the offset (probably) is for somereason not changed in the z axis (up/down).And the combine having blood on the wall is because they shot themselfes while they tried to fight the barnacle and for the headcrabs... it might be them jumping and then the attack hitbox being offset into its own hitbox thus they dead. now im not sure if any of this is true at all and remember this is just a theory a half life 2 beta theory!
